High-Octane Alert: Ranveer Singh Unleashes Beast Mode in Dhurandhar 2 Trailer – Epic Revenge, Bigger Enemies Await!

The high-octane trailer for Dhurandhar: The Revenge (also known as Dhurandhar 2), starring Ranveer Singh in the lead, dropped today, sending fans into a frenzy with its intense action sequences and gripping narrative continuation.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, who helmed the massively successful first installment that grossed over ₹1,300 crore worldwide, the sequel promises to escalate the espionage-thriller saga set against the backdrop of Karachi’s notorious Lyari neighbourhood. Ranveer Singh reprises his dual avatars as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, an Indian spy, and his undercover persona Hamza Ali Mazari (referred to as ‘Lyari ka Badshah’ or the king of Lyari), delivering what fans are calling a raw, lived-in performance full of intensity and transformation.

The nearly 3.5-minute trailer opens with high-stakes action, building on the cliffhanger from the original where Hamza eliminates key threats like Rahman Dakait (played by Akshaye Khanna in the first film). It teases bigger enemies, revenge-driven stakes, and a bold declaration: “Ab Pakistan ka mustakbil, Hindustan tay karega” (Now India will decide the future of Pakistan). A remixed version of Bombay Rockers’ “Ari Ari” pulses in the background, amplifying the adrenaline, while standout moments include Sanjay Dutt’s powerful line, “Jaha dard hai waha mard hai,” and warnings to R. Madhavan’s character.

The ensemble cast features powerhouse performances from Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, and others, blending espionage, gang wars, and emotional depth. The film, produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, clocks in at a reported near four-hour runtime (likely trimmed to around 3 hours 30 minutes), leading to special premium “Super Blockbuster Plus” ticketing and paid preview shows on March 18 evening.

Fans flooded social media with praise, hailing the trailer’s editing, thrills, and Ranveer’s commitment: “This 3-minute trailer had more thrills than most 3-hour movies,” one wrote. Another enthused, “Ranveer Singh isn’t just acting anymore, he’s living the character. Dual avatars = Double the Goosebumps!” Many declared 2026 as belonging to Dhurandhar, with calls for it to dominate the box office.

Advance bookings in India kicked off following the trailer launch, with overseas markets already open in select territories. The film releases worldwide in cinemas on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Eid, Gudi Padwa, and Ugadi, in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.

With the first film’s blockbuster legacy and no major clashes after recent postponements of competitors, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is poised for massive anticipation. Catch the official trailer now and book your tickets for what promises to be one of the biggest action spectacles of the year!
