Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty Kundra has embarked on a new venture in the realm of children’s fashion with her latest project, Zip Zap Zoop. Teaming up with entrepreneur Ashmika Sadh, a specialist in manufacturing and exports, Shetty aims to revolutionize the children’s clothing industry.
Zip Zap Zoop, a clothing line designed for kids and teenagers, leverages Shilpa’s multifaceted strengths as an artist, fashion icon, and mother, combined with Ashmika’s entrepreneurial acumen and industry knowledge.
The driving force behind Shilpa’s enthusiasm for this venture is her commitment to providing children with safety and comfort through sustainable clothing materials. The brand prioritizes chemical-free fabrics that are gentle on youngsters’ delicate skin and environmentally friendly.
“I have always wanted to understand the manufacturing process, ensuring the dyes are chemical-free and the fabric is azo-free, friendly for kids as well as environmentally sustainable,” expresses Shilpa.
Co-founder Ashmika Sadh underscores Zip Zap Zoop as a 100% transparent brand, emphasizing a rigorous 100% quality control over the production process. Ashmika states, “Everything is ethically sourced because we don’t allow any compromises for the children. We have introduced special fabrics in our clothing line that are extremely soft, comfortable, and hypoallergenic, suitable for children with sensitive skin allergies.”
The brand’s motto, “Expressive Fashion For Kids,” reflects in its lineup, designed to bring out the individuality and uniqueness of each child, encouraging them to express themselves fully.
Zip Zap Zoop is committed to sustainability, with 80% of the collection featuring fabrics like organic cotton and recycled polyester, minimizing environmental impact and reducing wastage.
Shilpa emphasizes, “We want to launch with this variety of styles because we do not want any customer to be excluded from our world. We are combining fashion with functionality so that every child can wear their personality. To cater to every individual style, we need to go all out for our customers. We intend to build a loyal customer base in the coming months.”
